AJ Legacy was born in 2019 on a sheet of paper, out of a desire to do things differently. Inspired by years of working within South Africa's renowned salon industry, our founder saw a gap — talented beauty professionals with nowhere to grow truly. So we built a space that would change that, with our first physical location in 2022.

What started as a nail studio and training centre has grown into a full one-stop luxury beauty salon offering nails, hair, and beauty — all under one roof. The journey has not always been smooth. Building the right team, developing careers, and creating a culture of excellence took grit, sacrifice, and an unshakeable belief in what we were building. But our greatest rewards have never been material. They are found in a team that is supported and thriving, in clients who leave feeling completely restored, and in professionals who discovered their true potential within these walls.

This is only the beginning. Our vision is to open an AJ Legacy Beauty School and expand across multiple branches — directly employing our own graduates and giving back to the industry that inspired us.

OUR POLICY

AJ LEGACY BEAUTY – SALON POLICY

Appointments & Bookings

Walk-in clients are welcome and will be accommodated based on availability.
We highly recommend booking an appointment to secure your preferred date and time.
A non-refundable booking fee of R300 is required to confirm selected appointments. This booking fee will be credited towards the total cost of your service on the day of your appointment.
Appointments are only confirmed once the booking fee has been received.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
Changes made with less than 24 hours' notice may result in the loss of your booking fee and may incur an administration fee.
We cannot guarantee immediate availability for rescheduled appointments.

Late Arrival Policy

We understand that unexpected delays happen.

If you are running late, please contact the salon as soon as possible.
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may have their appointment shortened, rescheduled, or released to another client.
Full-service completion cannot be guaranteed for late arrivals, and the full appointment fee may still apply.

No-Show Policy

Clients who fail to attend their appointment without prior notice will forfeit their booking fee. Future appointments may require full or increased prepayment.

Service Satisfaction

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you have any concerns regarding your service, please let us know within 48 hours of your appointment so we can assess the situation and provide an appropriate solution where applicable.

Children & Extra Guests

To maintain a calm and relaxing environment for all clients, we kindly request that only clients receiving services remain in the salon unless prior arrangements have been made.

Payment Methods

We accept cash, EFT, card payments, and approved digital payment methods.

For the comfort and safety of everyone, please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or skin sensitivities before your appointment.
